“This is really what drives me … The greatest gift you can give yourself is to go out and help someone else … That look in their eyes , the smiles , the hugs …. truly the best moments in life …. If you agree and this describes you too hit like and share …. Hugs”

Post by Lisa Grossman

I found the above posting on Facebook this morning and it inspired me because I wholeheartedly agree with the message.  It delighted me to find that there are other people still out there that agree with kindness as a way of life.  It gives me hope to know that there is another person who believes that happiness is contagious and that it should be spread freely with everyone.

I’ve never met Lisa Grossman, the originator of the Facebook post, and have no idea if she lives it the way I do.  I sure hope that she does.
The question I have for you today is this: have you truly embraced what a change in society just a few individuals can have if they set their intentions on making others happy each and every day?
Do you understand what an impact it would make to those who were suffering and feeling that there is no hope for improvement.  Many people all over the world are desperate for a solution to problems that they may have little control over.
The power that we do have lies in the choice we make.  Making someone’s day can be as simple as an acknowledgement, a word of encouragement, or something more grandiose like an extravagant and unexpected gift.  Which ever you choose it should be given freely and often.  The funny thing about giving is that the reward is often multiplied to the giver.  Sure it is nice to be on the receiving end of kindness and consideration, but giving of yourself without expectation feels even better.
A true pay it forward movement is beginning and I hope that you will be part of it!
